The tempo during the song gradually increases, with the music being fairly slow at the start.
During the start of the music video the tempo is at its slowest point, during this time the video is just Jack White walking through a rural area of america, with dusty surroundings all around him. This gradually builds up the suspense and then introduces Alison Mosshart walking towards him, both holding guns.
As soon as the tempo increases they start firing their guns at each other wildly.
The video contains some typical values of music stardom, with the rebellion, originality, Aggression and a disregard for polite behaviour. All of these videos combined create an extra-ordinary video, with long shots of the two band members in the band shooting each other while singing the song.
