Funeral For A Friend "Escape Artists Never Die" - Video Analysis

Band - Funeral for a friend
Song - Escape Artists Never Die

The song mostly fast tempo and due to this the music video consists of straight cuts, making each shot fast, to fit with the music. Each straight cut goes to a different camera angle, creating a bigger impact for the viewer, as there is more to look at then if the camera angles were all the same, because you see the band in different sorts of ways.
The video shows the band playing on a stage while there are dancers moving around in front of them and using props that are layed out throughout the area. The dancers start off with a very fast pace to go along with the music, then change their speeds when the music does, creating a good flow between the music and video for it.

Strobe lighting is used on the band members created a wilder look to the bands performance, with the strobe lighting adding a faster effect of speed to their movements the band, this also distorts the viewers eyes so they don't see the whole scene, making the video viewable multiple times as the viewer will see things they didn't notice the first time from being put off by the flashing lights.
